Est. 2015 — Fayetteville, AR
nature backs — experience the moment.
Two friends. A truck. Four months on the road with no office, no apartment, no plan beyond “let’s see what happens.” We were shipping orders from national park visitor centers and post offices we’d never heard of. Hammocks instead of hotels. Sunsets as the day’s main event.
“The road was teaching.
We just didn’t know we were doing research.”
Unhurried mornings feel different than scheduled ones. Meals eaten outside taste different. People talk differently when they’re not looking at their phones. Presence, it turns out, isn’t a mindset — it’s something the natural world pulls out of you whether you ask for it or not.
That trip ended. The lesson didn’t. Everything we’ve built since is just an attempt to make that feeling available to other people — a coffee space that slows you down, gatherings tied to the moon and the meteor showers, drops released when the seasons say so. Not at scale. Not forever. But for right now, in real life, together.
Books, plants, vinyl, a guitar on the wall. Zones for working and zones for lingering. The WiFi password is “experiencethemoment”. Come stay as long as you want. Nobody’s rushing you.
Sunset dinners. Stargazing nights. Meteor shower meetups. Full moon walks. We make the food, we find the spot, we open the door. The gathering is the product. The shirt is just a souvenir.
We release when something in the natural world gives us a reason. Solstices, meteor showers, the first cold night of fall. Comfort Colors blanks, screen printed a few miles down the road, in small runs. When it’s gone, it’s gone.
Functional coffee bringing people together. No crash, no fixed prices. Pay what it’s worth to you.
Not anti-technology. Pro-presence. The antidote is outside.
Weekly drops. No noise.
