Story Story

There's a kind of magic that only shows up after the sun goes down. You have to be outside for it. Off the porch, past the glow of the windows, out where the trees go dark and the daisies close up for the night. Stand still long enough and the woods start to blink.

Fireflies are a summer thing, and a childhood thing. Chasing them barefoot across the yard, cupping one in your hands just to watch it glow, letting it go. For a lot of us they're the first wild thing we ever fell in love with. And most of us haven't really stopped to watch them since.

Here's the part worth knowing.. they're getting harder to find. Not because the magic ran out, but because we filled the night with our own light and stopped going out to look. Fireflies need the dark. They need us to turn the porch light off and wander into it.
